This page provides the refund and cancellation policies for Being Yoga classes, training courses, and retreats. As a small business, we understand that unexpected events may lead to cancellations, but we also have financial responsibilities to venues and need to maintain a viable business. The terms and conditions below are designed to be fair to both parties. 

The data privacy policy and internet security information can be found on another page. 

The terms "you" and "your" refer to students, participants, or attendees. "We," "our," and "us" refer to Being One Pty Ltd, trading as Being Yoga. 

1. Yoga and Meditation Retreats

Australian Retreats:

• If you provide written cancelation with 30 days or more notice before your retreat starts, your $100 deposit is refundable or transferable. 

• There are no refunds or transfers (deposit & remainder fee) with less than 30 days notice, as we have already paid the retreat center for your place. 

• If there is a waitlist, we may be able to refund your payment, minus the $100 deposit, at our discretion.
  
• The Meditation & Mindfulness Training Retreat requires a $300 deposit.  As you are granted instant access to the Calm Living Online Course, $100 of this deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable.

International Retreats:

•  Your $500 deposit is non-refundable and required upon booking for the retreat. 

• Full payment must be made 60 days before the retreat start date. 
  
• Prices are per person for twin sharing or single occupancy, as specified. Flights and travel insurance are not included. 
  
• We highly recommend travel insurance as it may cover your cancellation. 
  
• If you cancel 60 days or more before the retreat start date, you will receive a full refund, minus the $500 deposit. 
  
• If you cancel 30 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.

2. Yoga Teacher Training 200hr and 300hr Course: 

• Your $300 deposit is refundable or transferable until 30 days before the course start date. Written cancelation is required.

• Full payments are taken, and payment plans are established after the first weekend of training. 

• After the first weekend, there are no refunds, but you may defer to a later training if you become injured or unwell. You have two years to complete the training. 
  
• On the first training weekend, you must sign a "Payment Commitment Form" to acknowledge the above policies. 
  

Payment Plans:

• All payment plans are arranged by Being Yoga in direct communication with the student. 

• The "Payment Commitment Form" is a binding agreement between Being One Pty Ltd and the student. 

•  The above refund and cancellation policies apply. 
  

• There are fees associated with refused payments, which are charged by the merchant directly.

3. Individual Yoga Training Modules (eg Yin Yoga. Pregnancy Yoga, Sequencing)

• If you provide written cancellation with 30 days or more notice before your training starts, your $100 deposit is refundable or transferable. 
• There are no refunds or transfers with less than 30 days notice.  
• There are no refunds within 30 days of the training if you have paid the remainder of your fee. We have accounted for your place on the training and may have ceased advertising for further students. We have usually printed your manual as well.
• If there is a waitlist, we may be able to refund your payment, minus the $100 deposit, at our discretion.

4. Online Self Paced Trainings

• If you are not satisfied with the Online Self-Paced Trainings or Course that you have purchased, you have 30 days, from date of purchase, to request a refund.
• Such requests must be emailed to admin@beingyoga.com.au and will be processed accordingly.
• Refunds can take up to a week to process back onto your card that you used for purchase.
• If you no longer desire to maintain an account on Beingyoga.online you may correct, update, amend, delete/remove or deactivate it at any time.

5. Coolum Yoga Class Passes

• 6 Class Passes for Coolum Being Yoga Classes expire 3 months after the first class.
• Lost or misplaced cards cannot be replaced so treat them like cash. 
• Gift Vouchers bought for class passes are not transferrable for cash.

6. Changes & Updates to our Terms of Service

• Being Yoga may update this policy at any time in its sole discretion and without prior notice. 
• We will strive to notify you about significant changes in the way we treat Personal Information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account and/or by placing a notice on the Website. 
• If we decide to change our Terms of Service, we will post those changes to this page, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware. 
• We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on our home page.
